With an ancient and strong herbal tradition and a diversity of herbs that grow as natives, teas are among the world’s most popular methods of offering us a viable and very effective formulae for the practice of using herbs as a medium of medicinal healing for both mind and body.

Tea relaxes your body and helps irrigate the sensitive neuro -receptors of the nasal cavity and throat to enhance the effects of the gentle herbs.

University of California scientists have discovered that tea drinkers experience a lot less hardening of the arteries than coffee drinkers do. It seems that the caffeine in coffee is bound with some heavy oils, which tend to elevate serum cholesterol levels quite a bit. It is believed that the caffeine content in green tea may actually help to cut cholesterol somewhat. In addition the tea’s polyphenols act in concert with the vitamins C and P present, helping to strengthen the blood vessel walls of the heart.

Many scientific and medical studies have been undergone to determine the extent of green tea’s long-purported health benefits, with some evidence suggesting regular green tea drinkers may have lower chances of heart disease and developing certain types of cancer.
